Location: Fully Remote, Philippines/Morocco
Rate: $7.00 - $10.00 per hour based on experience

Job Description:
As an AML Specialist, you will focus on regulatory compliance, investor documentation review, risk assessment, tax reporting support, data management, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements:
2–5 years of AML/KYC experience within fund administration, asset management, or a related financial services environment
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Progress toward completion of an AML-related certification such as ACAMS (e.g., CAMS)
Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations in jurisdictions such as the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the United States, or Canada
Experience working with investor onboarding and complex structures including trusts, corporates, and partnerships
Understanding of FATCA and CRS reporting requirements
Experience performing AML/KYC remediation and onboarding reviews
Ability to validate investor documentation, conduct risk assessments, identify deficiencies and potential risks, maintain investor records, conduct periodic KYC reviews, prepare FATCA/CRS reporting support, update internal systems with AML/KYC and tax-related information, process subscription and redemption activities, and communicate effectively with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Experience working with Fund Accounting, Compliance teams, external service providers, investor onboarding processes, FATCA/CRS reporting, and internal workflow improvement initiatives is preferable.
Responsibilities:
Perform remediation of historical AML/KYC files in accordance with regulatory requirements
Review and validate investor documentation to ensure AML/KYC requirements are complete and accurate prior to account opening
Conduct risk assessments and classify investors based on internal policies
Identify and escalate deficiencies, discrepancies, and potential risks in documentation
Liaise with clients, investors, and stakeholders to obtain missing onboarding documentation
Maintain updated investor records within internal systems
Conduct periodic KYC reviews and refreshes for existing investors
Support onboarding workflow and control improvements
Serve as a point of contact for AML-related queries
Work closely with Fund Accounting, Compliance, and external service providers
Review investor tax forms and update systems with annual reporting data
Prepare FATCA/CRS packages in accordance with regulatory requirements
Update systems with AML/KYC and tax-related investor information while ensuring data integrity
Review and process investor subscription and redemption activities
Validate investor information updates and perform call-backs when required
Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests
Communicate with investment managers, investors, and external stakeholders
Perform other related duties assigned by management

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
