We are opening this freeform vacancy as a permanent opportunity to welcome Business Development and Partnerships professionals in the Healthcare, Pharma and Digital Health sectors who are interested in joining our fast-growing startup team. Objectives

You will identify opportunities to build new partnerships and commercial relationships with health, life and travel insurers in local markets, leveraging our portfolio of AI-backed virtual care solutions to generate customer engagement, increase product differentiation and improve loss ratios.

You will:

• demonstrate the value of our services to potential clients and partners;
• identify how we can adapt our services to meet the strategic needs of each client or partner;
• negotiate mutually favourable commercial relationships and partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Understand the insurance landscape to identify potential opportunities.
• Contact relevant organisations across the health and travel insurance value chain to establish new lines of communication.
• Build relationships with key decision makers within insurance companies across Southern European and LatAm countries.
• Conduct meetings to understand the needs of potential clients and partners.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the Abi service.
• Work with your colleagues to prepare proposals and pricing.
• Negotiate and close commercial contracts.
• Ensure a smooth transition to our Client Success team for the launch of new engagements.
• Help with ongoing improvements and enhancements to our suite of service.

Requirements

You are available for a full time role based in Spain, Ireland or the UK, with frequent travel to regions of interest.

Your skills & experience

• At least 5 years of experience in and/or with the health and/or travel insurance sector
• Excellent negotiating skills
• Able to agree mutually beneficial commercial agreements
• Excellent understanding of insurance industry product lifecycle
• Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
• Able to build strong relationships quickly
• PowerPoint/Keynote/Slides; Word/Docs; Excel/Sheets.
• Ideally, fluent spoken and written proficiency in languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and any other predominant languages for specific local markets.
• Outstanding English communication skills, both written and spoken.
