We are opening this freeform vacancy as a permanent opportunity to welcome Business Development and Partnerships professionals in the Healthcare, Pharma and Digital Health sectors who are interested in joining our fast-growing startup team. Objectives
You will identify opportunities to build new partnerships and commercial relationships with health, life and travel insurers in local markets, leveraging our portfolio of AI-backed virtual care solutions to generate customer engagement, increase product differentiation and improve loss ratios.
You will:
- demonstrate the value of our services to potential clients and partners;
- identify how we can adapt our services to meet the strategic needs of each client or partner;
- negotiate mutually favourable commercial relationships and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Understand the insurance landscape to identify potential opportunities.
- Contact relevant organisations across the health and travel insurance value chain to establish new lines of communication.
- Build relationships with key decision makers within insurance companies across Southern European and LatAm countries.
- Conduct meetings to understand the needs of potential clients and partners.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the Abi service.
- Work with your colleagues to prepare proposals and pricing.
- Negotiate and close commercial contracts.
- Ensure a smooth transition to our Client Success team for the launch of new engagements.
- Help with ongoing improvements and enhancements to our suite of service.
Requirements
You are available for a full time role based in Spain, Ireland or the UK, with frequent travel to regions of interest.

Your skills & experience
- At least 5 years of experience in and/or with the health and/or travel insurance sector
- Excellent negotiating skills
- Able to agree mutually beneficial commercial agreements
- Excellent understanding of insurance industry product lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
- Able to build strong relationships quickly
- PowerPoint/Keynote/Slides; Word/Docs; Excel/Sheets.
- Ideally, fluent spoken and written proficiency in languages such as Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and any other predominant languages for specific local markets.
- Outstanding English communication skills, both written and spoken.
