The Opportunity

This position is a remote based position supporting our Transfusion Medicine Division. Our diagnostic solutions are used in blood banks, transfusion centers, hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments and informatics systems are often the first step in patient care decision making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.

As the US Total Solution Team Manager, you’ll serve as an Area Level Manager of a Total Solution Team and a subject matter expert, coordinating the tactical technical solution design (TSD) executed by the Total Solution Team, including Lab Systems/ Automation, Informatics, Workflow and Consulting lines of business. This position will manage a team that will develop, create, and design strategies for the most complex and largest customer bases, and work side-by-side with the local team to implement the solution across the Area level. This includes project management, preplanning, and preparation to understand and present customer priorities. Many projects must be managed concurrently. This team will also provide on-going level 2 support for the areas. The Manager will partner/liaison to serve as a communication link to internal and external business partners and Customers to build and maintain effective long-term relationships to grow the business. They will work with the Strategic Account Managers to Initiate competitive comparisons to support business strategies and the Total Solution Design. This role will work with the Director of Total Solution Teams globally and other Area Total Solution Team Managers to set strategy, develop goals and drive for gross margin improvement through process improvement and value expansion.

What You’ll Work On

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for automation and informatics solutions.

  • Manages a team using leadership, mentoring, and coaching to continue the advancement of skills and development. Sets goals and monitors progress of team, conducts performance evaluations, and provides feedback on performance gaps.

  • RFI/RFP response writing and assistance as it relates to technical data, solution development, value creation.

  • Collaboration and partnership with consulting, sales, and marketing organizations (Area/Global) for new product identification, strategy, and development that will provide solutions beyond the competition to establish ADD as an elite solution partner.

  • Work with Area Managing Director, Business Directors, and Business Managers to determine forecast and prioritization of projects to meet Area sales goals, and to gather and communicate all competitor information.

  • Provides Project Management assistance with each project during installation and implementation.

  • Responsible for customer meetings and presentations concerning Total Solution data gathering and proposals.

  • Partners with appropriate cross-functional groups to develop go-to-market models for assigned solutions.

  • Maintain fiscal responsibility in both revenue, expense and GMI with primary goal of exceeding each year’s work plan.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Minimum 7 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be able to multitask and coordinate with a complex network of departments throughout all levels of an organization such as Sales, Customer contacts from front line laboratory to C-Suite, Project Managers, IT personnel, internal and external vendors and contractors and senior level management.

  • Experienced in building and managing mobile applications (iOS and Android).

  • Ability to communicate and consult in a highly technical environment.

  • Strong problem-solving techniques.

  • Experience with workflow, IT, or Automation/Instrumentation with a laboratory background or knowledge.

The base pay for this position is

$111,300.00 – $222,700.00
