What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can manage climate data and support MRV/reporting using GIS tools, strengthen data quality, and translate analysis into clear recommendations for policy and resilience planning.

I’m an Environmental and climate change professional who supports national climate policy through data systems, sustainability initiatives, and evidence-based decision-making. I focus on turning complex environmental information into actionable insights for policy, planning, and technical audiences.

In my current role as a Data Officer Apprentice & Climate Change Intern at Eswatini Meteorological Services & Climate Change Unit, I digitize and integrate historical climate records into national databases. I conduct quality control and validation of meteorological datasets, and I contribute to climate and agrometeorological bulletins used for agricultural planning and policy support.

I’ve also built hands-on Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) experience by leading MRV implementation for tracking climate adaptation in the health sector and supporting Biennial Transparency Reports aligned with UNFCCC requirements. Through facilitation, I deliver training on climate data reporting tools and systems and engage cross-sector stakeholders to strengthen data-driven policy frameworks.

Beyond climate work, I bring coordination and stakeholder engagement strengths from facilitation and survey roles, including field data collection using KoboCollect and project support across research and development outreach. I’m committed to advancing climate resilience and sustainable development through collaborative, detail-oriented, and rigorously managed work.
