ZaToya Walker
@zatoyawalker
I coordinate Medicaid operations, compliance, patient access, and community programs that improve timely healthcare services.
What I'm looking for
I'm currently coordinating Medicaid waiver operations at PruittHealth Home First, managing approximately 2,000 members across Atlanta, Savannah, and Valdosta. I work with DFCS, DHS, providers, members, and community partners to coordinate eligibility, benefits, and timely services.
My work spans healthcare operations, compliance documentation, reporting, case summaries, authorizations, and audit-ready recordkeeping. I identify workflow improvement opportunities while supporting leadership with operational materials and complex administrative processes.
Previously, I developed behavior support plans and coordinated interdisciplinary services at PruittHealth Parkwood Developmental Center. I've also coordinated patient access, referrals, insurance verification, EHR documentation, procurement, contracts, budgets, and audit preparation.
Through Valdosta State University and the Valdosta Housing Authority, I coordinated community-based research for at-risk youth focused on agriculture, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and healthy lifestyles. I bring a service-oriented approach shaped by healthcare administration, research, organizational leadership, and community engagement.
