Prophet Mason

I’m a Software Engineer focused on building scalable software with clean code, reliable APIs, and strong performance. At Infoedge, I developed and maintained backend services and RESTful APIs that improved data flow and overall application performance.

I also bring a solid engineering foundation from my trainee role at Netweb Technologies, where I built academic and team-based projects using C++, Python, and Java. I collaborated on debugging and troubleshooting, supported project planning, and strengthened quality through testing, QA, and defect identification.

My project work reflects how I like to ship end-to-end solutions: a RAG-based Document Q&A system with FastAPI, FAISS, Sentence-Transformers, and Groq (LLaMA 3.1), plus analytics logged into SQLite. I design structured endpoints with validation and clear error handling, and I containerize services for smooth deployment.

I’ve also built real-time and full-stack applications, including a Socket.io chat app with JWT authentication and PostgreSQL persistence, and a URL shortener with MySQL analytics and ownership-scoped authorization. I’m comfortable spanning backend, frontend, and applied AI features while keeping stability, maintainability, and user experience in mind.
