At Flagship, I owned the pipeline layer of a cloud data platform spanning AWS, Azure, and Databricks, moving more than 2 TB of data daily. I redesigned the analytics layer with Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt to give teams reusable models and consistent KPI definitions.
I automated scheduling and pipeline checks, reducing manual operational effort by 40%, and established data observability that raised pipeline reliability to 99.9%. I also tuned SQL, Spark, and warehouse workloads, cutting processing time by 35% and cloud compute costs by 25%.
Before Flagship, I designed cloud data lakes and warehouses at Infoworks.io and helped clients migrate from legacy ETL tools and on-premises Hadoop. I progressed from building batch ETL/ELT pipelines as a Big Data Engineer to cloud architecture work, and later led a team of five data engineers.
