What I'm looking for

I seek translational research roles in cancer metabolism/genomics where I can apply molecular and bioinformatic expertise toward therapeutic target discovery and exosome-based applications.

I am a molecular biologist and biotechnologist focused on cancer metabolism, gene regulation, and exosome-mediated intercellular communication. My training includes an M.Sc. in Biotechnology (Cell Biology – Genetic Pathway) and current PhD candidacy in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

My master’s thesis revealed reciprocal regulation of Estrogen Receptor α, PKM2, and FASN in cancer cells, uncovering mechanisms of metabolic rewiring and potential therapeutic targets. I have developed and standardized protocols for RT-PCR, Western blot, viral transduction, and metabolic assays used across multiple cancer cell types.

At Taipei Tech I research functional characterization of exosomes as nanocarriers for cellular communication, with applications in regenerative and cancer therapy to elucidate exosome-mediated molecular signaling affecting metabolic homeostasis and inflammation control. I also led de novo genome exploration of frankincense-producing trees to identify biosynthetic gene clusters for bioactive secondary metabolites.

I combine experimental molecular biology with genomic and bioinformatic approaches to translate findings toward oncology, immunometabolism, and natural compound discovery, and I seek opportunities to apply this interdisciplinary expertise in translational research teams.
