I’m a detail-oriented Language & Data Specialist with native Amharic and fluent English (C1) proficiency, built on an academic foundation in Applied Biology and hands-on laboratory research experience. I focus on translation, transcription, AI data annotation, and scientific data management—always with quality and clarity at the center.

At Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI), I worked as a Laboratory Technician Intern where I managed and verified clinical and experimental datasets, and prepared structured scientific documentation. I followed SOPs and laboratory safety protocols while ensuring the data I handled was organized and dependable.

In my work, I deliver English-Amharic translation & localization for context-accurate communication, and I support teams with medical & technical transcription, proofreading, and quality control. I also contribute to AI readiness through AI dataset annotation and RLHF prompt evaluation, helping improve consistency and usefulness of data for downstream models.

I’m comfortable working in MS Office & Google Workspace, and I bring high-precision data entry skills supported by a reported typing speed of 50 WPM. With an “Ethiopia (Remote-Ready)” setup and 30+ hours/week availability, I’m ready to support data-heavy projects that require accuracy, confidentiality, and fast turnarounds.
