Yasmine Luong
@yasmineluong
Outreach and training intern focused on engaging stakeholders through practical learning.
What I'm looking for
I’m an early-career, people-first outreach and training professional currently studying Psychology and Sociology with a Health and Society minor. I bring an evidence-minded approach, supported by a Coursera certification in Global Health Policy and a Dean’s List recognition.
As an Outreach and Training Intern at SERC Reliability Corporation, I coordinated logistics and promotional content for outreach events, planned short-form videos, and created post-event surveys to capture stakeholder feedback. I also evaluated instructional materials and wrote an administrative guide to improve training clarity and consistency, then researched best practices to deliver benchmarking recommendations and design targeted user personas.
I strengthen my work through hands-on, service-based experience in community and information support roles. At State Employees’ Credit Union (Family House), I supported guest experiences through tours, policy explanations, and front desk communication, and I assisted with weekly check-in/check-out for 30 guests. I’ve also supported library operations at the Davis Library by coordinating interlibrary deliveries, helping patrons with resources/holds/renewals, and processing and shelving materials efficiently.
I’m motivated to keep learning, communicate with empathy, and build training resources that make transitions easier. From designing an Intern Onboarding Guide to volunteering with Public Health 360 and the Jake Max Foundation, I enjoy translating research into clear, actionable outreach—so people feel informed, supported, and connected.
