I’m a hands-on engineering leader building AI/agentic systems and LLM-powered products, while staying close to code to challenge and guide architecture, traces, and delivery decisions. I’ve scaled engineering organizations from 0-to-1 product building to enterprise-grade delivery across fintech, SaaS, marketplaces, and iGaming.
Most recently, I built an AI Cost Intelligence / FinOps control plane for LLM-powered products—focused on request-level attribution, AI usage observability, cost prediction, and workflow-level optimization. I developed it from 0 to 1 with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, React/Next.js, Kafka, and PostgreSQL, and shaped production AI governance concepts around agentic workflows and LLM tracing.
On the delivery side, I’ve rolled out AI-assisted engineering workflows—refined requirements, PR summaries, CI agent, and quality/guardrails rules—cutting cycle time by 50%. As a Senior Engineering Manager in Portugal, I lead site execution across 40+ engineers, drive company OKRs into measurable team outcomes, improved delivery velocity by 30%, and reduced hiring time by 50% through a revamped pipeline.
Previously, I led platform-level engineering at PayU with a micro-frontend + event-driven, 50+ microservices Treasury 2.0 that achieved 99.999% uptime.
