Yang Lan
@yanglan
I build robust web applications and CI/CD systems using React, Python, Java, Docker, and cloud DevOps practices.
What I'm looking for
At IBM Canada Software Lab, I maintained and enhanced Jenkins and Buildbot CI/CD pipelines, customizing deployments with Git hooks and building testing, logging, and backup cron jobs for internal services.
I led a code-decoupling effort between Buildbot and a results presentation site, improving modularity, event tracing, error analysis, and debugging. I also created interactive Docker registry management scripts that reduced storage consumption by approximately 30%.
I’ve optimized critical internal web applications by improving frontend data presentation and refining middle-layer service logic for readability and efficient data manipulation. My stack includes Python, Java, JavaScript, React, Vue3, Spring Boot, FastAPI, Node.js, Django, MySQL, Docker, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
I’m looking to contribute to scalable, robust systems while growing in collaborative engineering teams, deepening my web architecture, cloud platform, and CI/CD experience.
