What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role that allows me to leverage my research expertise in chemistry while contributing to innovative projects in a collaborative environment.

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Tulane University, where I have been awarded a full scholarship and maintained a GPA of 3.7. My research focuses on the synthesis of water-soluble supramolecular hosts, where I have successfully led teams and optimized synthesis processes, achieving a 20% increase in yield. My work has resulted in multiple publications, including a book chapter and presentations at international conferences.

Prior to my PhD, I completed my M.Sc. in Chemistry at Bilkent University, where I was also awarded a full scholarship. My research involved the imaging of intracellular singlet oxygen with BODIPY dyes, contributing to advancements in photodynamic therapy. I have a strong background in both research and teaching, having served as a Head Teaching Assistant, where I trained a team of 12 TAs and updated curriculum materials during the pandemic.
