At the Arkansas Natural Resources Division, I oversee regulation of 441 state-regulated dams and lead floodplain management and dam safety work that protects Arkansas communities and natural resources.

I've established a statewide Dam Safety Partners Summit, implemented a long-term dam recertification strategy, and developed risk-assessment approaches for high-hazard dams. I also serve as Arkansas's representative on the National Dam Safety Review Board and as liaison to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Levee Safety Program.

Previously, I led National Flood Insurance Program coordination and flood-risk mapping for 425 Arkansas communities, partnering with FEMA and local communities on HEC-RAS 1D and 2D models across thirty-two HUC-8 watersheds. Following the 2019 Arkansas River Flood, I led damage assessment and a $5 million mitigation effort for damaged homes and offline flood storage.

My earlier work at the Center for Watershed Protection, Greenhorne and O'Mara, and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments focused on watershed restoration, stormwater controls, water-quality modeling, runoff management, and environmental analysis.
