What I'm looking for

I'm looking for an accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role where I can improve workflows, maintain accurate financial records, support reconciliations and billing, and contribute through advanced Excel and accounting systems.

At Heneways Freight Services, I process 100 to 120 supplier invoices daily using Sage and ShipShape, while generating customer invoices through CargoWise and maintaining accurate financial records.

I reconcile supplier and customer accounts, investigate discrepancies, prepare payment batches for approval, and support month-end activities with payment schedules, account reviews, and documentation. I also monitor 37 customer accounts and helped reduce outstanding receivables from 32% to 18%.

I developed an Excel workflow that reduced invoice processing time from approximately three hours to 40 minutes. I use advanced Excel tools including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and SUMIFS to improve reconciliation, collections, reporting, and administrative workflows.

I bring an Honours degree in Accounting, finance internship experience, and a practical approach to working across finance, procurement, warehouse, operations, imports, exports, and management teams.
