Weiyi Ni
@weiyini
Head of RWE analytics driving evidence generation for market access, pricing, and reimbursement through real-world data and HEOR.
What I'm looking for
I lead integrated evidence generation strategy to close clinical and global market access–related evidence gaps in partnership with medical affairs, commercial, regulatory, and clinical development teams. I’m especially focused on observational and epidemiologic study design that produces decision-ready real-world evidence.
In my most recent roles as Head of RWE Analytics and Director, Global Value – HEOR at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, I oversaw pivotal RWE studies to support launches, including work for Xywav and Ziihera in the U.S. market. I also directed HCRU studies using Optum Market Clarity to inform post-approval strategy and payer engagement in biliary tract cancer.
I build rigorous evidence programs end-to-end—planning, data curation, and analysis—using EMR, claims, registry, genomic, and survey data to generate evidence on disease burden, treatment patterns, effectiveness, and safety. I’ve also developed enterprise-wide reimbursement strategies and strengthened real-world data governance through implementation of data quality standards, metadata governance, data lineage, and scalable infrastructure for reproducibility, traceability, and regulatory readiness.
I enjoy communicating complex findings clearly to clinical, regulatory, and policy stakeholders, supported by a strong publication record and scientific presentations. I’ve led and mentored high-performing RWE teams, established global RWE operating frameworks and SOPs, and championed advanced data visualization to improve how RWE results—like comorbidity and HCRU profiles—translate into actionable payer-facing value propositions.
