What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a remote Lead Systems Engineer role where I can own infrastructure end-to-end—VMware virtualization, SAN/storage, networking and security perimeter—drive reliability and uptime, and lead teams while managing budgets and modernization.

I’m an IT infrastructure engineer with 15 years of experience designing, deploying and operating enterprise-grade environments. My focus is VMware virtualization (vSphere 5.5–8.0, Horizon, VMware Cloud on AWS) and building fault-tolerant data-center infrastructure.

I built a data-center infrastructure from the ground up in Dubai (UAE) and currently run an environment of 68 ESXi hosts, ~700 VMs and 710 TB of storage. I also have experience leading an IT team of up to 10 people, owning projects end-to-end — from hardware selection and budgeting to day-to-day operations.

Hands-on stack: storage HPE 3PAR/Primera and Pure Storage, SAN on Brocade and Cisco MDS, server platforms HPE Synergy and BladeSystem, networking and security with Cisco ASA/FirePOWER/Nexus, Check Point and MikroTik, and backup with Veeam and Veritas.

I’m looking for a remote Lead / Senior Systems Engineer or IT infrastructure role and am comfortable working across time zones.
