Vladislav Deys
@vladislavdeys
I build Android apps in Kotlin and Java, from schedule parsing to geolocation features.
What I'm looking for
I've built Android modules for a startup project, including a TUSUR schedule parser and a Yandex Maps geolocation feature that helps students determine whether they will arrive at class on time. I used Kotlin and Java with MVVM, LiveData, RxJava, Jsoup, and FusedLocationProviderClient.
At the Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science, I optimized C++ algorithms for detecting 3D-object intersections, reducing data loading from 192 to 14 seconds and achieving up to a 15.7x speedup through OpenMP parallelization. I also build Android pet projects with Firebase, Retrofit, Room, Clean Architecture, and Ktor.
