I've led microbiota characterization and DNA extraction research at UMSA's Honey Pharmaco-Biochemical Research Institute, and I conduct thesis research on metagenomic surveillance of pathogens in hospital wastewater.

I process large-scale sequencing datasets to identify high-risk pathogens, antimicrobial resistance genes, and microbial diversity. I use Python, scikit-learn, R, Linux, Microsoft Azure, and bioinformatics tools to support anomaly detection, quality control, and structured reporting.

As a Teaching Assistant at UMSA, I've led hands-on sessions in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, and biotechnology. I moderate discussions, evaluate oral communication, adapt explanations in real time, and provide evidence-based feedback.

I'm a native Spanish speaker who translates complex scientific concepts into clear, accessible language and evaluates conversational quality with attention to coherence, naturalness, and audience understanding.
