What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead engineering for high-performance systems—especially where DSLs, data infrastructure, and low-latency pipelines turn complex workflows into disciplined, reliable execution for users.

I’m a CTO and systems engineer with 14+ years building DSLs, data infrastructure, and low-latency trading systems in Scala/FP. I currently lead technology at Quantman, a no-code algorithmic trading platform designed to help intraday traders automate disciplined, emotion-free strategies.

At Quantman, I architected and built a composable DSL that powers both backtesting and live execution from the same strategy definition—delivering 10x faster backtesting and a 20x reduction in live compute. I also designed a low-latency order execution pipeline to minimize tick-to-trade time, reducing slippage and improving live fill prices.

To make strategy creation accessible, I built a conversational agent that translates natural-language strategy descriptions into the composable DSL. This enables non-technical traders to author and iterate without writing code, while keeping the underlying system composable and production-ready.

Previously, I led data and platform work at LeadIQ and StackState, and helped build scalable systems end-to-end. I drove a lakehouse architecture on Databricks at LeadIQ (removing hours of ad-hoc MongoDB-to-EC2 aggregation work) and optimized Elasticsearch queries for a 10x latency reduction. At StackState, I architected a transactional graph database on HBase and delivered StackPacks to onboard new environments in minutes, alongside a 3x Elasticsearch latency reduction and storage/notification systems for real-time root-cause analysis.
