At Microsoft, I designed an overhauled algorithm for a multi-billion-a-day storage management service, simplifying operations and improving efficiency. I also designed its rollout strategy with checks and telemetry to support safe validation; the gradual rollout is in progress.
I delivered APIs for a new storage service, with rollout of user traffic in progress. I also implemented syntax error highlighting for federated Cypher queries and received positive user feedback on the feature.
I designed and delivered an end-to-end directory data integration for a knowledge graph service, achieving the promised 99.9% SLA and onboarding an initial 40 million requests per day. I also designed and migrated a partner scenario from a custom caching layer to the native knowledge graph service.
At ONA Data, I worked on OpenSRP Android clients and Spring MVC services, and scoped, designed, and implemented the RDT Open Reader application. It was deployed for research in select locations in Kenya and Indonesia and received 4,000+ RDT data submissions.
