I have been running an online business venture named Cuppies in Sri Lanka since October 2015. What started as a self-employment opportunity has now grown into a successful business with a team of six. Cuppies specializes in decorative cakes for weddings and functions. Throughout my journey, I have gained experience in cake baking and decorating, customer handling and service, stock maintenance, brand building and management, marketing, accounts, and all aspects of running a business.

As the proprietor of Cuppies, I have achieved significant milestones. I established the business with just Rs.5000 and a 30-year-old oven, and have grown it to a net worth of Rs.3.8M. I have developed marketing tools to create an island-wide customer base single-handedly, relying on word-of-mouth and social media. I have conducted training workshops and participated in exhibitions and conventions, including winning a gold medal in the advanced category at The Cake Convention 2019. To date, I have created over 5000 cakes, including highly customized and 3D designs.
