Ambitious high school student passionate about mechanical engineering.
What I'm looking for
I am an ambitious and innovative high school graduate with a strong commitment to pursuing a career in mechanical engineering. My journey has been enriched by my participation in Project Lead the Way, where I have honed my skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and project management. With a GPA of 3.95, I have excelled in various advanced courses, including AP Computer Science and engineering principles.
Currently, I am a Physics Research Intern at the Dark Matter and Neutrino Lab at UCR, where I am developing NeuCBOT, a tool for calculating neutron yields. This role has allowed me to deepen my understanding of particle physics and enhance my Python programming skills. Additionally, my volunteer work at the Robot Garden Fixit Clinic has provided me with hands-on experience in repairing electronic and mechanical items, further solidifying my engineering knowledge.
As the upcoming Vice President of the Engineering Club, I have designed and built numerous projects, utilizing CAD software and learning valuable engineering concepts. My experiences in cricket have also taught me the importance of teamwork and communication, skills that I carry into all my endeavors. I am eager to continue my journey in engineering and contribute positively to my community.
