I’m a product design leader with 18+ years of experience building design teams from scratch and shipping complex B2B products. My focus is helping companies turn ambiguous problems into usable, scalable systems across multiple user personas.
At Andela, I led design for a two-sided marketplace, growing the function from 0 to 10 across Design Ops, Product Design, and UX Research. I launched Andela Talent Cloud, an AI-powered talent matching platform that reduced hiring timelines from weeks to 2–3 days, and I shipped Andela Pay for distributed teams.
I’m hands-on as well as strategic—I’ve set org-level direction and built foundations in practice. I introduced SUS (System Usability Scale) measurement at Andela, and I built the Andela Design System from scratch to create a unified component library across product surfaces.
Previously, I built and led a 7-person design team at Onyxcorp (now Mode.io) for 6 years, taking a web-only product to Android, iOS, and Desktop. I also led design process definition, critique methodology, and design system work, and I’ve contributed to mentoring and community-building through industry programs.

Built and led a 7-person design team from scratch across product and brand design. Launched Android, iOS, and Desktop applications, defined end-to-end design process and critique methodology, and created the company design system.
Collaborated with global clients on product design projects as part of Toptal’s vetted designer network. Served as Latin America Community Lead, led designer screening, mentored General Assembly students, and represented Toptal at DNX in Buenos Aires.
