Vegson Junior Pierrelus

I'm completing a psychology degree at the Université d’État d’Haïti’s Campus Henry Christophe de Limonade while coordinating community-focused mental-health and youth initiatives.

As General Coordinator of HUMANIS in Gonaïves, I promote mental well-being across Artibonite. I also serve with SOS Psy Haïti as Communication Commission lead and founded and coordinate the Koze Ayiti platform.

Through the “Sante Mantal Lakayannou” project with AEPP, I have led mental-health awareness activities in prisons, hospitals, and schools. During Mental Health Week, I supported children and young people in orphanages and refugee centers to understand emotions and mental health in accessible, caring ways.

I bring group facilitation, project planning, communication, and partnership coordination to educational and social-development projects. My field work with JEACHA has also included mobile training on leadership, civic engagement, rights and responsibilities, environmental issues, and responsible sexuality.
