What I'm looking for

I’m seeking remote opportunities in Biology AI training, scientific research assistance, scientific writing and related science-focused roles. I’m particularly interested in applying my skills in a remote research environment while developing my professional research experience.

At the Biotechnology Research Institute at the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC), I gained hands-on experience supporting biotechnology research. I performed DNA extraction and PCR procedures and maintained laboratory records in line with Good Laboratory Practice and Standard Operating Procedures.

For my final-year project, “Composition Analysis of Spent Mushroom Substrate and Potential Analysis as a Biofertiliser,” I assessed water-holding capacity and NPK composition and identified fungi and bacteria. I also conducted a controlled pot experiment on the early growth of tomato and cucumber plants, then recorded and analysed the findings.

I hold a BSc (Honours) in Biotechnology and Biochemistry, specialising in Genetics and Bioengineering, from the University of Zimbabwe. I’m seeking remote opportunities in Biology AI training, scientific research assistance, scientific writing and related science-focused roles.
