Anshika Shukla

I’m a motivated B.Tech Biotechnology graduate seeking a research opportunity as Project Research Scientist-1 (Non- Medical). I’m excited to apply my knowledge of molecular biology, microbiology, and bioinformatics to biomedical research and therapeutic development.

I’m particularly interested in computational drug discovery and experimental validation in disease-related research. Through my coursework and projects, I built a strong foundation in immunology, genetic engineering, and nanobiotechnology, while keeping a research-focused, problem-solving mindset.

In academic and training experiences, I worked across both wet and dry lab workflows. I completed microbiology training where I handled microbial culture preparation, staining, and microscopic identification with biosafety and quality control, and I trained in bioinformatics using BLAST/NCBI, multiple sequence alignment, and phylogenetic analysis with MEGA and ClustalW.

I also developed hands-on lab exposure in industrial biotech and specialized workshops, including DNA isolation basics, animal tissue culture techniques, and neurobiology fundamentals. I’ve strengthened my technical practice with wet-lab skills like Soxhlet extraction, chromatography methods, ELISA, centrifugation/filtration, and computational support tools such as AutoDock Vina and PyMOL.
