Environmental scientist specializing in research, writing, and lab work.
What I'm looking for
I am an environmental scientist with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Environmental Science from the University of Zimbabwe and several years' research experience in biosystems and environmental engineering. I have led and contributed to laboratory studies, drafted and edited manuscripts, and coordinated collaborative research projects.
I have co-authored and published six research papers that have collectively received over 100 citations, including work on coal ash as a cement substitute, rare earth elements in soil-plant systems, microplastics exposure pathways, and environmental impacts of COVID-19. My responsibilities include designing and executing laboratory experiments, analysing data, and managing manuscript preparation and revisions using Microsoft Office and major style guides.
I bring strong academic writing, proofreading, and editorial skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while collaborating effectively with co-authors and teams. I am motivated to apply my research skills and publication record to projects that address environmental contamination, waste management, and sustainable materials.
