Conducted fieldwork to preselect participants, obtained consent, and managed data input into SPSS and Excel, ensuring accuracy. Responsible for maintaining equipment, capturing longitudinal data on REDCap, and training newer research assistants.

Collaborated with community leadership to schedule and conduct data collection, ensuring participant permission and data quality. Performed remote data entry using Excel and prepared progress reports for supervisors.

Activities and societies: Actively participated in mental health awareness initiatives and talks, as well as been a part of various research teams. Gained valuable experience through clinical rotations and community-based education and service and undergone training in various areas, such as psychological first aid and survivor-focused safety planning.

Studied Medical Psychology, focusing on the assessment and treatment of mental disorders. Developed strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis, and gained practical experience through clinical rotations and community engagement.

Completed secondary education, earning the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education. Focused on a broad curriculum to build foundational academic skills.
