Dorcas Cherotich

I am a psychologist with hands-on clinical exposure and a strong commitment to supporting psychological well-being through empathetic, ethical care. I bring training in assessment, therapeutic techniques such as CBT and DBT, and experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

During a clinical attachment at a hospital psychology department, I applied theoretical knowledge to real-life counseling, assisted with assessments, supported therapy and psychoeducation sessions, and contributed to documentation and research activities. That placement broadened my clinical understanding and strengthened my communication, observation, and case-management skills.

I value cultural sensitivity, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development; I approach challenges with patience and resilience and seek roles where I can continue to grow clinically, contribute to team-based care, and support clients through evidence-based interventions.
