I'm looking to build and operate production AI/LLM and cloud backend systems, with meaningful ownership of reliable retrieval, evaluation, observability, security, and high-throughput event-driven platforms.

At Straive supporting Elsevier, I build and operate AWS Bedrock LLM systems for live research-discovery content, enriching and classifying more than 1M documents each month. I designed semantic retrieval with embedding pipelines and OpenSearch vector indexes, plus evaluation gates using curated golden datasets before prompt or model changes reach production.

I've spent 7+ years building Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kafka platforms for clients including Principal Financial Group, Assurant, and HSBC. I improve reliability and cost through event-driven architecture, serverless services, observability, secure IAM, and CI/CD—cutting LLM enrichment costs by about 35%, cloud spend by about 70%, and production issues by about 75%.
