I've supported live pharmaceutical batch manufacturing at Hikal Ltd., working with reactors, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, vacuum systems, brine systems, pumps, and cooling towers across production blocks.

I prepared and reviewed GA and fabrication-ready AutoCAD drawings, PFDs, P&IDs, MSDS sheets, and batch SOPs while coordinating with process, quality, and engineering teams. I also monitored reactor temperature, pressure, and flow, completed calibration checks, and helped maintain zero unplanned shutdowns during my six-month internship.

I've applied mass and energy balances to calculate steam requirements for utility optimization and used deviation logs to investigate xylene recovery losses, proposing P&ID control modifications to improve solvent recovery.

Through academic and industrial projects, I've sized shell-and-tube heat exchangers using the Kern method and simulated toluene production and IPA recovery processes in Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus. I'm looking to contribute these process, thermal-design, and mechanical-documentation skills to heat exchanger design and fabrication work.
