At Shri Ramdeo Refinery Pvt. Ltd., I received hands-on exposure to continuous edible oil refining, including operations involving soybean, palm, and cottonseed oils. I monitored PLC/HMI systems and assisted with PFD and P&ID review, basic heat and mass balance calculations, and process data sheets.
I also supported QA/QC laboratory activities, including titration, FFA, iodine value, and moisture analysis, and applied CIP procedures. My training included exposure to utilities, process safety, and SOP implementation.
At Tawri Multigases Pvt. Ltd., I gained industrial exposure to manufacturing, storage, and handling of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. I observed cylinder testing, valve operations, and safety documentation.
For my academic project, I worked on synthesis of pectin from citrus waste, covering extraction process development, yield analysis, and basic equipment sizing. I’m certified in DWSIM Process Simulation through the IIT Bombay Spoken Tutorial Project.
