Vaddi Rajendra

I’m a Computer Science graduate focused on building production-grade backend systems, REST APIs, and AI-powered applications. I enjoy designing scalable software solutions and turning AI capabilities into real-world product features.

Through my internship experience at Hitloop, I designed and developed backend services using FastAPI and Python for AI-powered enterprise applications. I partnered with product managers, frontend engineers, and AI teams to deliver production features and scalable backend architectures.

I’ve also built backend components for AI platforms, including an AI-powered UPSC evaluation system and an AI learning assistant. I integrated LLM-powered workflows for tutoring, quizzes, assignment evaluation, and document analysis, using tools like LangChain and OpenAI/Azure OpenAI/Gemini APIs, with RAG-style approaches and asynchronous pipelines (Celery, Redis) to improve scalability.

My projects reflect my attention to reliability and clean system design—whether it’s a FastAPI face recognition surveillance backend with REST APIs and timestamped event logging, or a Ubuntu touchpad gesture recognition backend with modular, configurable gesture-to-command workflows. I’m now seeking a Software Development Engineer role to build high-impact, scalable software products.
