I'm a full-stack engineer with 7+ years of experience building production systems across healthcare SaaS, EdTech, and SEO tooling. I currently co-lead engineering at DentTracks, a multi-tenant dental practice management platform, where I designed the entire architecture and database schema from scratch — including a unified integration layer that normalizes data from multiple third-party practice management systems into one canonical schema, replacing an approach that was causing 30-70 second API response times. I own backend architecture, database design, authentication, microservices, and AWS infrastructure, while directing a small team.
My core stack is Node.js/NestJS, TypeScript, React/Next.js, MongoDB, and AWS, with additional experience in Angular and React Native. I care most about systems that are built to actually hold up in production — correct data modeling, clean service boundaries, and infrastructure that doesn't fall over as scale grows — rather than shipping something that just works in a demo.
Outside of client work, I'm self-taught in Unreal Engine and build multiplayer game systems in my own time, which keeps me sharp on problems (networking, replication, state management) that don't come up in typical CRUD work.
