Throughout my career, I have performed black box, regression, and acceptance testing for software projects. I collaborate with designers to implement client requirements into software design and work closely with development, product, and customer teams to align testing efforts. I prepare detailed test plans, cases, and scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Utilizing Jira and Trello for project tracking, issue management, and collaboration, I create and update automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG. Additionally, I manage and mentor junior SQA engineers, providing testing guidance and support. I continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Prior to my current role, I worked as a Software Test Engineer at Cartlow SMC, where I collaborated with cross-functional teams to review requirements and align testing efforts. I supported user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinated test execution, and defect resolution. Utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG, I maintained automated test scripts. I also conducted performance tests with JMeter and Postman, analyzing for enhancements.
Before transitioning into the field of software testing, I worked as a Chinese Interpreter/Focal Person at China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd. In this role, I interpreted for meetings with Pakistani government and local departments, managed the QA/QC Department, including Material Lab, and coordinated Chinese affairs in Pakistan, overseeing delegates from China.
