At Scribe America, I scribed for physicians and nurse practitioners in the emergency department, using Epic extensively and Athena as well.
As a volunteer EMT with Galloway Township EMS, I assisted in providing emergency medical services to the public. I also volunteered at Volunteers in Medicine, where I performed patient intakes, entered information into Athena, and scribed for volunteer doctors.
At Stockton University, I analyzed genetic mutations in Drosophila melanogaster, observed inheritance patterns, and presented my findings at Stockton’s Spring Research Symposium. I currently volunteer as a Crisis Text Line counselor, using trained techniques to support texters experiencing suicidal ideation and helping coordinate reports and EMS support for texters at risk.
