I’m a Backend Engineer with 1+ years of experience building RESTful microservices in Java and Spring Boot across the full SDLC. At Cognizant (Citizens Bank U.S.), I built CRUD APIs, business logic, and inter-service communication using HTTP/JSON, and I’m comfortable taking features from sprint planning through production readiness.
I focus on quality and reliability: I write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito, and I use Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation and validation. I’ve also worked with Git/Maven and CI/CD contributions, and I bring practical exposure to Kafka-based event-driven systems, along with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude.
