What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own backend architecture for distributed, high-load systems—building scalable services with strong observability, reliability practices, and pragmatic operational excellence on AWS/GCP.

I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 10+ years designing distributed, high-load systems across fintech, payments, trading, and media. I focus on scalability, reliability, and operational excellence, building production-critical platforms on AWS and GCP.

Most recently, I delivered a production-ready TCP proxy server for the FIX protocol with an AI-assisted workflow (Claude Code) in about a 1-month timeline, and I conducted load testing at one million messages per second. Prior to that, I led a high-load gRPC data platform serving 5M+ users, defining service boundaries, deployment strategy, and observability standards.

I’m comfortable operating services end-to-end: production releases with automated rollback strategies, monitoring and alerting with Grafana/Loki/Tempo/Datadog/CloudWatch, and performance work like keeping p95 latency below 100ms during sustained load and traffic spikes. I bring strong engineering discipline across microservices (gRPC/REST), event systems (Kafka/NATS), and infrastructure automation (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
