I’m a Risk and Controls professional with extensive experience supporting SOX 404, ICFR, and internal audit in complex environments. I assess control design and effectiveness, translate risk into clear guidance, and help teams strengthen governance across end-to-end business processes.
In my most recent role, I partner with control owners to support RCSA-aligned activities, develop and refine SOX narratives and walkthrough documentation, and validate control placement. I also support ICFR testing by reviewing documentation, ensuring data completeness, and keeping workpapers clear, accurate, and aligned with audit standards.
I’m especially focused on continuous improvement: I identify root causes of control gaps and process inefficiencies, drive remediation through effective stakeholder partnership, and improve transparency and consistency with scalable control frameworks. Earlier in my career as an Audit Analyst II and Senior Accountant, I built a strong foundation in risk-based audits, audit methodologies, and reconciliation/close discipline—skills I now use to deliver practical, actionable control insights.
