Toshal Kumbhar
@toshalkumbhar
ECE student building RTL-to-GDS-II GPU SoCs and robotic systems with imitation learning.
What I'm looking for
On Ember GPU, I designed a GPU SoC from scratch in SystemVerilog, integrating a rasterizer, tensor array, FPU, and custom processor. I verified it against independent Python models and scripted the RTL-to-routed-GDS-II flow.
I also designed a complete RV32IM RISC-V SoC and carried it through physical implementation to clean GDS-II sign-off. For an imitation-learning robotic arm, I built a 6-DOF manipulator and recorded demonstrations to train a PyTorch Behavior Cloning policy for real-time control.
My other work includes an IBVS-based sorting system selected for IEEE Xplore and an automated blade inspection station for Bharat Forge Aerospace. I’m interested in embodied AI, multimodal perception, robotics, VLSI, and connected systems.
