Dedicated mental health professional focused on community support and education.
What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated mental health professional with a strong commitment to community support and education. My journey began with a dual degree in African American Studies and Psychology from the University of Iowa, where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized communities. I have honed my skills through various roles, including as a Habilitation Home Lead, where I provided direct support and advocacy for clients, helping them access essential resources and achieve their personal goals.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings, from crisis intervention to behavioral support in schools. My experience as a Director at Transitions For Life allowed me to implement evidence-based strategies to assist homeless individuals and at-risk youth. I take pride in my ability to foster relationships and create supportive environments that empower individuals to overcome their challenges and thrive.
