At Capital One Financial, I designed and provisioned AWS infrastructure for multiple applications, including Lambda functions, ECS Fargate services, and RDS databases.
I engineered an automated OFAC sanctions-screening system to enforce regulatory restrictions against flagged customers. It helped maintain Capital One's compliance posture and avoid potential government fines of over $1 million during federal audits.
I also solely maintain and enhance five internal accounting and reporting applications used by approximately 100 accountants, while remediating vulnerabilities and keeping repositories up to date. Earlier, at Newport News Shipbuilding - HII, I reduced a machinery installation job order by 4,000 man-hours through a redesign of fabrication and installation processes.
