Tijani Qazeem

I’m an agriculture professional and postgraduate researcher with hands-on experience running farm and small-business operations. I coordinate people and resources, while managing customer- and public-facing responsibilities with a strong analytical/scientific mindset.

As a Farm Manager, I oversee day-to-day farm operations, including planning, input procurement, labor coordination, and yield tracking. I manage sales and pricing of farm produce, track costs and margins, maintain production/expense/sales records, and use the data to improve output—while coordinating with buyers and suppliers for negotiations and daily customer relationships.

I’m also a Postgraduate Researcher in Soil Physics, where I design and conduct pot incubation experiments evaluating organic soil amendments under a Randomized Complete Block Design. I collect, organize, and analyze experimental data on soil physical properties and write up findings for academic review, including co-authoring a peer-reviewed journal article published in 2025.

Beyond the farm and lab, I’ve supported administration and teaching through NYSC, handling record-keeping, scheduling, correspondence, and mentoring students through lesson planning and classroom management. I also volunteer as a coordinator for climate action initiatives, contributing to planning meetings, drafting minutes, fundraising, and social media coordination.
