What I'm looking for

I want to combine evidence-based bedside nursing with teaching—helping new nursing professionals learn current knowledge and skills through real clinical practice, skills labs, and supportive mentorship.

I’m a Registered Nurse who supports patients across Med-Surg, Telemetry, PCU/Stepdown, and LTACH settings, often as a float/seasonal/charge resource. I deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and care, manage admissions/discharges/transfers, and respond confidently to emergencies and codes while practicing to ACLS and BLS standards.

I also bring strong clinical technology and medication management skills, including use of Epic and Cerner, medication workflow through Omnicell and Pyxis, telemetry monitoring and interpretation, and administration/titration of therapies such as heparin, amiodarone, Cardizem, dobutamine, insulin drips, TPN, and vasopressors. I monitor complex lines and drains (PICCs/ports/midlines, foleys with CBI, NG/NJ/Duboff/PEG tubes, JP drains, ostomies) and support patients through CIWA-related care and wound-care coordination.

Beyond bedside practice, I’m building my long-term focus in nursing education—currently pursuing a Doctorate of Science in Nursing while holding an MSN in Nursing Education and a BSN. I teach and mentor in clinical skills labs and hospital settings, assist with medication education and check-offs, support simulation labs and care-plan development, and serve as a preceptor and evaluator to help new nurses grow into evidence-based practice.
