What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead UX and design teams to ship user-centric, practical experiences. I want a role where business goals and customer satisfaction align—using research, usability testing, and analytics to drive continuous improvement.

I’m a UX Lead with 15+ years across UI/UX and web technologies, and I lead and mentor design teams to deliver practical, user-centric solutions. I combine business goals with customer satisfaction through thoughtful design, and I’m always looking for ways to make products feel intuitive and efficient.

Most recently, at Xyicon (Napa, CA, USA), I’ve grown from Senior UI/UX Engineer into UX Lead and Creative Marketing Strategist. I led the UX redesign of the Xyicon app V4, established and led the UI/UX team, and managed Xyicon’s Figma design system—while also running SEO and CRO initiatives, maintaining corporate websites, and using analytics to guide content strategy and improve UX.

Earlier at WSO2 (Sri Lanka), I contributed to UX strategy and decision-making, promoted user story writing and persona development, and did R&D for React and Material-UI revamps for APIM and IM consoles. Before that, I led teams and shipped consumer-centered designs as a Principal UI designer, including work on products like TicketsLK, FinanceLK, and SportsLK.
