I’m a Network Engineer with 2+ years of experience in enterprise network operations, routing protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS), and Cisco platforms (IOS/IOS-XE, ASR, Catalyst). I’m CCNA-certified and I enjoy hands-on work that turns complex network requirements into stable, observable services.

At Railtel Corporation of India Ltd., I designed, deployed, and maintained carrier-grade IP/MPLS networks using Cisco ASR 902 and ASR 903 routers across railway and enterprise infrastructure. I configured and troubleshot BGP, MP-BGP VPNv4, IS-IS, and MPLS routing in production, focusing on optimal path selection, redundancy, and reliability. I helped achieve 98% scalability and 99% availability through architecture and configuration work across the Southern Region for Indian Railways.

I’ve implemented MPLS Layer 3 VPN (L3VPN) services using VRFs, Route Distinguishers (RDs), and Route Targets (RTs) over IS-IS and BGP. I also deployed Layer 2 VPN (L2VPN) services with Ethernet pseudowires (xConnect) and MPLS-based connectivity for enterprise WAN extension, and commissioned a physical data center using a Spine-Leaf architecture with VLANs and Port-Channels for high availability.

I bring an operations mindset to incident response and network observability, using SolarWinds for centralized logging and proactive infrastructure management. I’ve also developed automation scripts with shell scripting to deploy updates and maintain backups across routers and switches, and I’ve handled firewall administration with Palo Alto and Sophos.
