One concrete example: deployment frequency was a bottleneck across teams. I architected a GitOps pipeline using GitHub Actions, Helm, and Argo CD with canary rollouts and automated Prometheus analysis gates — deployment frequency tripled and we recorded zero deployment-caused P1 incidents over 18 months.

The platform runs on EKS with Karpenter handling node autoscaling, Terraform managing all infrastructure as code, and Argo CD driving GitOps deployments — nothing touches production manually. Observability runs through Grafana LGTM, OpenTelemetry, and AWS X-Ray. Zero critical CVEs in production for 12 consecutive months through policy-as-code enforcement and runtime detection.

I own SLO engineering across all services — defining error budgets, running burn-rate alerting, and leading incident response. I defined and led platform engineering standards adopted org-wide — GitOps policies, Terraform module standards, and incident runbooks reducing repeat incidents by 40%. Blameless postmortems are core to how the team improves.

My experience managing Linux infrastructure and architecting multi-environment IaC directly contributes to my capabilities as a Platform Engineer. Each role — from Tanama to Quest Global to Virtusa to Target — has built the depth I bring to every platform I own today.
