Hello, I'm Terence, a 33-year-old Malaysian currently residing in Kuala Lumpur. With a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, majoring in Design & Innovations, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and creativity to the world of product management.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, with Mandarin being my mother tongue. I am known for my quiet and analytical nature, always thinking several steps ahead, and firmly believing that actions speak louder than words.

My journey into the world of product management started with a part-time role at an authorized Apple dealer in my city, where I was deeply inspired by Steve Jobs' revolutionary approach to product design. This inspiration led me to dream of becoming an entrepreneur and eventually brought me to the forefront of the startup scene in Malaysia.

As the first runner-up in a National Level Start-Up Idea competition, I honed my skills and decided to venture into software and programming to realize my entrepreneurial ambitions. I started from scratch and discovered my passion for programming along the way.

Over the past seven years, I have accumulated a wealth of experience working with the Quest Group of Companies. During my tenure, I mastered various disciplines, including digital marketing, CRM, web development, project and product management, leadership, and analytical skills. I played a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the development of diverse projects, such as community-based social commerce and P2P crowdfunding platforms.

In my recent role with Search Media Pte Ltd, I delved into technical SEO and successfully oversaw the development of an online marketplace, encompassing both web and mobile applications.

My ability to think critically and strategically, combined with my hands-on experience in various facets of the digital landscape, has equipped me with the skills necessary to excel in the role of a Product Manager.
