At State National Company, a Markel Company, I review premium, losses, ULRs, and profitability across P&C programs, explaining changes in performance and supporting actuarial recommendations.

I estimate ultimate losses and IBNR using LDF and BF methods, analyze claim development and exposure trends, and perform lender property CAT modeling in Touchstone. I also reconcile actuarial models, loss runs, source systems, and financial reports to investigate and resolve differences.

I use SQL, Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI to improve reporting and support portfolio and quarterly actuarial reviews. Previously, at Lewis & Ellis, I reviewed more than 200 pricing workpapers, validating data, assumptions, formulas, and pricing inputs under tight deadlines.
